How this program can help you to become a resident in New Zealand?
The Green List offers two clear pathways to residency in New Zealand for graduates in key fields. First, if you secure a job offer as a Construction Manager, Project Builder, or Quantity Surveyor after graduation, you may be eligible to apply directly for Permanent Residency. Alternatively, you can use the 2-year Post Study Work Visa to gain work experience in your field. After completing two years of relevant employment, you’ll also become eligible to apply for Permanent Residency under the Green List pathway.

To qualify academically, you need a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. For English proficiency, you must achieve an academic score of at least 6.0 overall, with no band below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.

Can I bring my family?
To access family benefits like a spouse work permit and free education for children, you must be enrolled in a Level 9 Master’s program or equivalent in New Zealand. At this level, your partner can apply for an open work visa, and children aged 5 and above can attend public schools as domestic students.
